Created by Dan Funderburgh for Wythe Hotel, this nouveau toile is a delicate tribute to their perfectly imperfect block in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Specifically the corner of North 11th and Wythe, where the sights visible from their rooms and bar reveal the illustrated scenes.
The Sand colorway features a soft dusty taupe etching printed on a matte ivory clay coated paper to create a calm and serene space with a sense of place.
Dan Funderburgh's witty, contemporary twist on traditional wallpaper illustrations made him the first Flavor Paper artist collaboration in 2005. We've been creating beautifully mischievous and irreverent wallpapers since. Dan has an uncanny ability to mash up geometric and floral patterns with classical and comical content.
