Designed by Andy Warhol x Flavor Paper
Andy Warhol’s Red Elvis, 1962, a nearly 6-foot-tall silkscreen on canvas depicting Elvis Presley’s face repeated 36 times is the source image for Elvi. This work was one of Warhol’s earliest silkscreens featuring a repetition theme. There is a noticeable deterioration of various impressions as the screening progressed. In an homage to Warhol’s work, Flavor Paper has recreated this aesthetic in Elvi, which features 9” x 12" handscreened headshots of The King.
The White colorway features an off white background handscreened onto a thunder gray clay coated paper.
