The Flavor Kitchen
December 7, 2022
If you’re dialed into this zone of the Flavorverse then you’re familiar with the fact that we don’t whip up wallpapers based on annual color trend reports. Seriously, where’s the inventiveness in that! While we’d be remiss not to clock the conversation, the fact is that we often have the go-to hues – with a twist to them, of course – on our menu well before they’re announced. Case in point: Pantone’s 2023 Color of the Year, Viva Magenta. Neither a pink, purple or red, the shade is certainly complex and perhaps vexing (because, really, what is it people?!). But, since the intention behind the ardent A.I. generated “Magentaverse” moment is all about joy, strength and optimism, it’s something we're into and have been behind-ish for a minute.
While creating unconventional designs that ignite conversation and amplify spaces is how we roll, another key ingredient to our special sauce is that we serve up styles that have perennial appeal. Don’t get us wrong, if you’re down to change up your world on the regular, we’re here for that! But, really, we want you to #savortheflavor for a beat, so while Viva Magenta is something, it’s not necessarily livable as is. So, for those craving a hit of all the rage, might we suggest these like minded yet Flavor forward wallcoverings that bring the noise with a more composed and approachable vibe. Take a spin through the image carousel for a taste of the IRL magic.
P.S. If real-deal Viva Magenta is what you want, we can absolutely customize one of our patterns by matching and incorporating the color. Just give us a shout!
