We’ve got nothing but big love for Daveed Diggs…and not only because he’s all about that Bay Area Toile Flavor. Though, let’s keep it real, it doesn’t hurt!

About a year ago the Oakland native and the entire original cast of Hamilton joined the John Krasinski show, Some Good News, to surprise a nine-year old with a Zoom performance of “Alexander Hamilton” since her trip to see the Broadway show in NY was canceled due to the lockdown. It’s a feelgood; you’ll cry; check it out. And, while Daveed mostly stood out because he’s mad talented, our wallpaper tribute to the ‘yay’ behind him really made him pop. Today, the actor, rapper, singer, and songwriter is serving up even more Bay love in an Architectural Digest article (online and the April issue Cover feature...what what!) about his Mandy Cheng designed L.A. home, which has the wallpaper workin’ the walls in a guest bathroom. Now we know where he was getting his musical on from for SGN. According to Daveed it’s the only decorating decision he made for the home that he shares with partner and actress Emmy Raver-Lampman. Solid choice, man!

Peep the video for an entertaining tour of the colorful Cali casa — at about minute 4.13 Daveed goes all in on drinking the design Kool-Aid, for which we’re beyond grateful!! Oh ya, did we mention it’s one of our DIY friendly EZ Papes papers, meaning it’s pre-pasted and water-activated for an easy up / easy down? True story. Get it while it’s hot!

P.S. People also picked up the story. Dope!
