Photographer Boone Speed made this electrifying nighttime photograph of Tokyo’s lively Shinjuku district using a wide angle long exposure. The design celebrates the sensory overabundance experienced when weaving through the clubs, crowds, karaoke rooms, restaurants, and shops that make the city’s east end so vibrant. At the same time, the image has a frequency that’s less frenetic and more seductive.

The Neon colorway is a vivid read of the frenzy of colors and textures that balance the history and futuristic vibes of Tokyo. The digitally printed mural showcases large beige signs that evoke a vintage feel, in contrast to the bright, contemporary colors of blue, red, yellow, orange, white, and green neon lights. The chrome Mylar substrate brings the entire scene to life with a stimulating mirrored amplification of light, color, and movement.
