Jon Sherman’s Rio Crocodillo blends the amazing texture of crocodile skin and Roberto Burle Marx’s Rio de Janeiro sidewalk pattern. The two concepts blend beautifully with the croc grain inverting and reverting in Marx’s sexy, undulating wave pattern. This is one of our favorites from the Tropicalismo collaboration with Kravitz Design.
Caiman is a colorway that is full of movement and intrigue. A rich caramel brown ink is handscreened onto a textured gold metallic ponyskin foil substrate, enhancing the natural character of the crocodile pattern in a luxurious fashion.
Flavor Paper founder and creative director Jon Sherman is a self-trained artist and designer whose work has been featured in numerous museums, books, and projects.
