Andy Warhol had always been obsessed with fame, and the Mona Lisa has reigned supreme since 1503. Leonardo da Vinci’s painting premiered in NY in 1963, inspiring Andy to produce some of his earliest works for which he employed silkscreening to make multiples efficiently. Flavor Paper’s homage requires our artists to position and print five screens uniquely to achieve an intentionally varied and unique wallpaper and installation every time.

Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the pop art movement of the 1960s and is considered one of the most important artists of the late 20th Century. The Andy Warhol x Flavor Paper Collection represents our interpretations of Warhol's work—some iconic and others handpicked from deep in the artist's archives—released in a globally exclusive partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts ongoing since 2013.
