Mirage is an organic design hidden in a complex tessellation of geometric shapes. Inside the outline of an ever-growing palm tree, the colors of the geometric shapes invert from the colors outside. A clever way to create the definition of the shapes while maintaining color and perceptual consistency.
The handscreened sexy, tropical, and complex White Heat colorway consists primarily of a white lattice framework. Transparent jade and color-shifting red to yellow inks overlap the white structure, which is only interrupted by the subtle pearlescent bronze outline of the palm tree shapes. The print floats upon a mirror-like gold Mylar substrate, which further enhances the mirage effect.
