Fracture

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi pottery, Fracture makes the cracks and imperfections a beautiful focal point. This elegant mural was created using macro-photography of our inks taken while we blended them and added metallic interventions.

Lapis is an elegant and harmonious blend of rich blue and teal inks that create a gorgeous, multi-dimensional organic marbled backdrop with fantastic metallic depth from the chrome Mylar substrate. This beautiful, abstract flow is then artfully interrupted by delicate, golden yellow lines that trace fluid paths across the surface. These gilded capillaries introduce a layer of subtle glamour and sophistication, catching the light and providing a striking contrast to the deep blues, much like veins of precious metal within a natural stone.
