Jane Blevin’s City of Light pays homage to the layered lacquered art deco masterpieces of Jean Dunand and the Byzantine mosaic stylings of Gustav Klimt. The random match allows for an endless, unique flow of irregular shapes that cascade across the room.
Aether is a sublime and angelic colorway with four light shades of off white with hints of green and blue framed in a meditative soft powder blue. The irregular slivers of the chrome Mylar substrate reveal flashes of light creating movement.
Jane Blevin is a true artist - fashion designer, dancer, textile designer, dramatist, neo-burlesque pioneer and an accomplished screen printer. Jane considers the art of printing wallpaper to be its own kind of “dance performance, with all the grace and jitters.” Her unique metallic textiles were highly influenced by two of the most iconic names in Los Angeles interior design, Phyllis Morris and Tony Duquette.
