The Wizardry of Wallpaper

Lyric Theater

October 29, 2018

Talk about a fantasy project (literally)! While witchcraft may not be our forte, we have been told that we’re wizards when it comes to wallpaper design. So, it was only fitting that the team behind “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” reached out regarding its residency at the Lyric Theater in Manhattan, asking that we help harness the spirit of the show to transform the space with wild wallcoverings. While the designers had a specific look in mind, we were able to bring it to life in a way that was personalized and pretty spectacular. The custom digital artwork included a magnificent mural that was printed on our Gold Pony Skin Mylar to give the design greater texture and depth; our Andy Warhol Rorschach pattern had a leading role, as well. This pairing definitely added something special to both the venue and the show. In fact, so much so that we are continuing to work with the play on a global rollout of its productions…from San Francisco to Australia, and beyond. All in all, we think it’s a hit, and we hope you do, too!
