Performance Art

Flutter Art Exhibit

December 17, 2019

Screen queen Natasha Lyonne was recently let loose in the multi-media art exhibit Flutter for a new episode of the British Vogue and Gucci series, ‘The Performers.’ And, the result is a brilliantly bizarre journey of self-reflection in which she explores her multiple on-camera personas. While the looks Lyonne sports from the Gucci Cruise 2020 collection by Alessandro Michele amps up the stylish surrealism of the film, what really makes it mesmerizing are the co-starring wallcoverings that we created for the exhibition in collaboration with many of the featured artists, including Permanent Sunset by Liz Collins, as well as As You Wish and Ladies by Katie Stout. Like Lyonne who lays her creative process bare, our work within the space expresses our unique modus operandi for flipping traditional wallpaper on its head to create artwork that is unexpected, innovative and immersive. If you have yet to experience Flutter we highly recommend you do. It’s in Los Angeles at 217 S. La Brea. Let us know what you think!
