Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse

Brooklyn, NY

We’re all about championing our hood any chance we get. So, when we were approached by friend, neighbor and ingenious interior designer, Elena Frampton, to team up on her study for the inaugural Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse — in association with New York Cottages & Gardens and the Brooklyn Heights Association that supports historic preservation — we were in…and the mission to create a wallpaper that captured the vibe of the brownstone’s surroundings was on. Elena’s vision was focused on bringing the outside inside, looking to the canopy of trees lining the block as inspo. And, while we were game to get down on a fully custom look, Elena went wild for our Ghislaine Viñas designed Wild Thing mural, but wanted to give it a more tranquil twist with a gray and blue palette. The result is soft yet dynamic, and by wrapping the walls and ceiling (don’t forget about the ceiling!), the room really feels like an extension of the outdoors. We dig it as do many clients who lay eyes on it, so even though this colorway isn’t on our menu we cook it up when asked. If you’re interested just give us a shout!
